March ATA news

    Great turnout for the Alamogordo Invitational. There were 97 matches played, total entrants 109; singles, 60; doubles 49. There were 10 schools participating.
   Mark your calendars; the Cottonwood tournament will be March 24-25. The tournament registration forms will be at the courts Thursday, March 1.  They will also be emailed to you about that same time.  Please be looking for them and getting together with your partners.
    As some of you may have noticed, Greg and Ron spent quite a bit of time putting up “ball recycle” bins at the courts, rest assured, there will always be plenty of old balls to donate to Rick S. for the schools and for us to use at the Cloudcroft play days.  ALSO, play day sponsors are still in need, see Ron to sign up. Thanks.

    Please send us tennis related events or news so we can post or include in our newsletter.  ***The next board meeting will be March 19^th, which is also the night of the tournament draw, as always, all members are welcome to attend, 6:00pm at Linda G’s house.***
