August Playday

August Play Day was a huge success!  Four full courts of players and a half dozen spectators enjoyed tennis in the cool mountains of Cloudcroft.  Delicious hot dogs, hamburgers, and other goodies followed at the Piney Woods picnic area.  Afterward we got a personal tour of Mike’s casa and other buildings, which he has built and restored.  Thanks to Mike and Joe, and to all the players who played and brought goodies! MIKE & JOE PUT ON A GOOD SHOW.  People are already asking if this is going to be an annual event!!!

tennis lessons for the kids is back

Starting Saturday, August 3rd at 9 a.m., lessons for kids will start up. This will continue every Saturday (Unless Something comes up) through the middle of September.

Blough Family / Cody Independence Day Tourney

What an example Jess Blough sets for tennis players!  He not only continues playing fine tennis himself, but his three grandchildren, Trey (17), Taylor (16), and Tessa (12)  have joined him in playing the Cody Independence Day Tournament.  There is not enough room to mention all the events they played in and results, but it is significant that Tessa won championship in both her singles and girls doubles events.  It is safe to say that the Blough family was tired by the completion of the tournament!!

Well done Blough family!!
