Turkey Winners
Which one looks the most like a real turkey? Write the name of the player pictured above who looks the most like a real turkey on a canned food and bring it to the tennis shed to cast your vote.
2011 Turkey Shoot
Everyone had a great time at the 2011 Turkey Shoot, in spite of some outside interference, as can be seen in the pictures.
Message from our President:
Congratulations to today's Turkey winners: Diane, Laurie, Wolfgang and Dale. All I can say is, you're all a bunch of turkeys!!. Nice going.
Thank you Ken and Neoma for hosting and thank you Raymond for rescuing the turkeys from Ken and Neoma's car.
As mentioned at the courts this morning, we'd like to start a canned food drive for the rest of this month and into December. Just one canned food item would be greatly appreciated, or if you'd rather give a $$ donation, that would be fine too. We plan to donate all we collect to a local soup kitchen, (to be named later).
Where to bring/leave your canned food item? There will be a designated box inside the shed at the tennis courts. You may leave your item here, or should you wish to give a $$ donation, you may give it to Raymond or me. We appreciate your generosity.

Report from World Team Tennis matches
This report on our WTT teams comes from Janet Santackas:
"The Roadrunners," our 3.5 team lost two close matches, there were some flashes of brilliance and lots of hopefulness for future matches. They lost their first match 26-32 and their second, 26-28. It was a learning experience and they are looking forward to their next match. This was Alamo RoadRunners first match and as of today they are tied for 2nd place.
The Alamo Aces, the 4.0 team, came out strong. There were some great shots made by many and we won our first match 36 games to 16. The second match we lost by 3 games, 28-31, these were the Aces' first two matches and it left us in 2nd place.
