November Turkey Shoot Play-day

Thank Neoma and Ken smith for the November Play day Turkey Shoot. There were four full courts of participation for this year and everyone had a wonderful time. For the first time, Two couple had won all of the turkeys. 1^st place winner for male and female was Joy and Darryl Gallent and 2^nd was Petra and Christian Schneider.Give them both a round of Applause for both couples volunteered a turkey to the ATA Christmas party.      The 2013 December Play Day will be held on Saturday,November 7th between 9 a.m. and  12 p.m. This month will be hosted by the entire ATA Board of Directors. As always, everyone have fun!

Membership Dues

For all ATA members, membership dues are requested starting January 1, 2014. the fees can be given early. any board member can accept these fees or they can be paid at the Christmas party. It is $15 for a single person or $29 for a family.

November announcements

• Linda is the new secretary, so everyone welcome her to the board next time you see her.
• The December play-day is going to held on December 7th with the ATA board as its host and the Christmas party is going to be held during the evening 
• Battle of the clubs  is coming up in a few months. players and captains are needed for teams. the categories are 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5.. There is a minimum of six players per team and a maximum of eight. For more information or interest in Battle of the Clubs, contact a board member.

November Board Meeting

This month's Board meeting is held on the sixth at Margo's. All ATA members are welcome to attend. Linda Gilliand will be appointed to the board during this meeting.

November Turkey Shoot Play-Day

It is time for the November Play-day with a turkey as a prize. All ATA member are encouraged to come out and enjoy some quality tennis. The playing will start at nine a.m. and is hosted by ken and Neoma Smith. As always have fun!!

October Events

Otero County's October Tournament, 26-27th. Followed by a pot-luck dinner at the Desert Sands Community center, 2000 1st street. ATA new board member elections to be held at this pot-luck dinner. As always, make sure to have fun and play some good tennis!
